“Don’t go, please.” Key beckoned, hands trying to grip to something, fisting into any clothing he could find.

“I have to.” Jonghyun spoke against his ear, running his finger along the small of his boyfriends back.

“Please, w-wait another year. I’ll come with you next time, I’ll quit uni now and come with you!”

The sigh that left Jonghyun’s lips was unnerving. He had been through this over a thousand times with Key in the past few months. He had to go, he couldn’t do anything to stop it.

Key leant back looking down at his feet; tears rolling down the side of his face and to see his lover, his other half, a part of his soul looking like this; it clenched at his heart and crushed it into little pieces. It was too long for Key to wait, he couldn’t survive without Jonghyun.

Jonghyun said nothing as he leant into Key, melting his lips onto the youngers so slightly. It wasn’t needy and it wasn’t fast. It was clear and Key knew exactly what it meant. It was filled with promises and real feelings. Real love and everything that they had said over the past two years. It was existing, it was pure.

“I love you.” Key sobbed against the elders chest.

“I love you too.”
